In 1998, I walked into the Colleton County Animal Shelter as a teenager and walked out with Nala, my very first rescue. She was with me for 15 years, and that one act of adoption shaped everything I believe about second chances, responsibility, and the power of rescue.
Fast forward to today—and that same shelter in Walterboro, South Carolina is still doing the work. But they’re facing it with a limited staff, an over-capacity population, and a constant need for volunteer support and donations.
That’s why 100% of the donations collected at checkout are for the benefit of FoCCAS (Friends of Colleton County Animal Shelter). FoCCAS supports the homeless animals at the Colleton County Animal Shelter through fundraising, education, events, and donations.
Every dollar helps them:
- Feed, house, and care for more than double the number of animals the shelter was designed for
- Support lifesaving vet care and emergency medical needs
- Purchase supplies like food, bedding, cleaning materials, and vaccines
